Light Control - a complete system for intelligent management of lighting networks |
LIGHT CONTROL is a complete system for intelligent, cost efficient steering and control of lighting devices. The great advantage of the system is that it is possible to substantially optimize the operations of a lighting network / infrastructure. Further, it is also possible to reduce energy consumption through a more effective use of the lighting device and the way one controls the lighting device. The system is suited for private companies as well as public organizations. It may be used for small networks of lighting devices (from some hundred) up to several thousands, covering for example a whole urban area.The basic behavior of the system is to control the schemes for turning on and off a lighting network. The system is highly scalable and can easily be enlarged up to thousands of nodes. More complex functions can also be added to the system, for example light control of specific groups, light control of single lighting devices. Light sensors, sensors for measuring traffic intensity, burglar alarms and motion detectors can easily be integrated into the system.
Light Control are based on Meshnet platform, which is a general M2M communications platform for managing large number of connected nodes in a high availability and cost effective way. |
Increased safety and security With Tritech Light control the lighting can be adopted to different surroundings and time, since requirements for light conditions will vary dependent on surroundings and time, and thus increase comfort and safety for citizens, traffic, etc. |
Simplified operation and maintenance The complete system is controlled centrally, via an IT system. The IT tool is easy to use and comprise all functionality useful for an operator of a lighting network. Operation and maintenance staff have thus a very effective tool to monitor, control and steer a lighting network. The system will through alarms notify when lighting devices are not working and intrusion detection in a central light controller that controls an area of lighting devices. Also preventive maintenance can be planned through information and statistics of the lighting device, burn time, etc. All to improve cost efficiency for operation and maintenance of a lighting network. |
