Ansaldo STS Sweden offers solutions and developments for railroad traffic control which supports the EU:s goal to harmonize railroad traffic control for member states and thus create an interoperable Pan-European traffic control system called European Train Control System (ETCS).
Tritech assists with quality assurance by developing and carry out modular tests on the software for the Finnish version of Ansaldo’s Specific Transmission Module (STM) – which is a part of the transition to ETCS and allows for traffic on railroads with ETCS as well as nation specific traffic control systems.
Tritech’s development of the modular tests for STM follows strict norms and methods according to the EN 50 128 standard. The work is done following an Agile method in close co-operation with Ansaldo STS Sweden. Tritech uses a team with six engineers in order to keep the tempo high and manage to finish the tests and corrections before the field test phase in Finland.
