CMA is one of the world’s leading actors within the field of continuous monitoring of chemical events in body organs and living tissue. By employing different techniques, changes in the organs local metabolism can be detected, which in turn can indicate the course of the disease and complications several days before conventional diagnostic methods.
Tritech has developed electronics and mechanics for measurement of glucose and lactose in intensive care and cardiac patients. By being able to measure and display values and trends, and therefore controlling the glucose levels within strict parameters (TGC), large cost cuts has been made possible as a result of shorter treatments and improved treatment results.
Besides developing all electronics and designing mechanical solutions, Tritech has also been apart of application development. The projects main challenges has been dealing with extremely low test currents which must be handled in a safe manor.
The development project has been carried out during Q4-2007 to Q1-2009. Tritech is now managing production and logistics. The product is a medical device which requires compliance with the standard EN60601.
