The need for a flexible platform
Assa Key Solutions offers solutions to manage and store keys, pharmaceuticals and other valuable objects. All of the company's products are characterized by high security and user friendliness. In 2005, the company started planning for the development of a new platform that would replace the existing platform, Key Safe, which was developed as early as 1996. Many technological improvements had taken place since the mid 90's, and now it was important to gain access to a more modern and flexible platform.
The development of a new platform was to a great extent in order to meet the demand of the market. Assa Key Solutions noticed that its customers had new needs and requirements, which the company wanted to fulfil, but that the old platform was not able to handle. Therefore, Assa Key Solutions needed a supplier that could take responsibility for the entire process - from start to finish.
