Automatic Meter Reading 

Fortum Distribution strives to offer their customers the best possible service and value-added services in connection to the delivery of electricity. Therefore, the company signed an agreement with Telenor Cinclus in May 2006 with the aim to offer automatic electricity meter reading to 835,000 households. The solution, which is mainly based on mobile technology, includes among other things Tritech’s radio based communication system MeshNET.

Tritech’s solution provides reduced life cycle costs, increased stability and flexibility compared to other technologies available on the market.
